Bill serves as the executive vice president of business development and previously served as GMC's first CEO. Under his leadership, GMC has been ranked on local, regional and national levels as one of the top firms in the industry and received countless project and design awards. Bill founded GMC's architectural division in 1986, launching the company closer to its current status as one of the most comprehensive design firms in the Southeast. In his more than 30 years of practice, he has designed notable projects throughout the state and region. Bill's civic and community leadership activities include the Governor's Task Force for Efficiency in Government, appointed member; Business Council of Alabama, Regional Advisory Committee; Trustmark Bank Board of Directors; Montgomery Business Committee for the Arts, past chairman; Jackson Hospital Foundation Board of Directors; Leadership Alabama Board of Directors; and Teach for America Board of Directors. He graduated with bachelor's degrees in both Environmental Design and Architecture from Auburn University, in addition to post-graduate studies at Harvard University.
