James I. Harrison School of Pharmacy
Auburn University, Alabama
As the field of Pharmacy continues to redefine itself to meet twenty-first century healthcare needs, the buildings which house these programs must continue their augmentation to keep pace with the evolving curriculum. Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc., in association with Flad & Associates, was selected by Auburn University to provide design services for the James I. Harrison School of Pharmacy / W.W. Walker Building Additions & Renovations. Our team of highly skilled architects and engineers faced many complex challenges throughout the design phase. With the highest enrollment of any pharmacy program in the southeast, additional space was needed to accommodate the advanced teaching philosophy, and renovations were a necessity for the current and future needs concerning research and lab based portions of the curriculum.
