Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. was retained by the Alabama Department of Transportation to develop the Alabama Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. Our firm worked with transportation engineers, landscape architects, planners, and local cycling enthusiasts to develop the plan. The scope of work includes an inventory of all existing and proposed bike-pedestrian facilities in G.I.S. format. Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. conducted 9 public involvement meetings across the state as part of the planning process. The plan was completed in 2005.
