Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. worked as a design-build team member, along with BUCO Builders Inc., to design and construct this 10,000 square foot storage and distribution facility with a 2,500 square foot office component for Chemstation located in the Bessemer Industrial Park. The project included all aspects of design including Civil Engineering, Architectural Design, and Interior Design. The hazardous nature of the materials stored in the facility presented the design team with unique code issues to resolve. Particular attention was required for spill containment and fume exhaust systems.
