Gateway Park

Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. was hired by the City of Montgomery to provide professional design services for the new Gateway Park, a 180-acre multi-use park at the southern “gateway” to the City of Montgomery on I-65. The park includes a 9-hole Executive Golf Course, ball fields, walking trails, a 20-acre lake, and community lodge. Adjacent residents can walk or bicycle to the park. Many residents frequently visit the park to fish. The civil engineering design components improve site drainage and the ability to accommodate 100 year flood events.
