Downtown Greenville Revitalization

Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. was hired by the City of Greenville to provide historic, downtown revitalization services in order to preserve the heart of the community. Services included utility relocation, drainage improvements, sidewalk reconstruction, street paving, decorative “period” lighting and extensive landscape enhancements. In addition, GM&C provided additional improvements for the City including the Historic Train Depot renovations, road improvements, as well as water and wastewater improvements. Project funding included CDBG funds and Transportation Enhancement funds. The infrastructure improvement project was completed in 4 phases over a six year period.
