Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. was retained to provide design and construction engineering services for an upgrade to an existing three cell lagoon treatment system for the City of Greenville. Our firm designed a new 2.0 MGD mechanical treatment plant which included an open flight siren lift station, mechanical self-cleaning screen, grit and grease removal unit, dual aeration basins with integral interior clarifiers, chlorine/ de-chlorination facility, and a cascading saturator prior to discharge. We also utilized the first and largest of the three lagoons as a sludge stabilization and storage facility.
