Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. is currently working with the City of Montgomery for a full service design of the new intermodal transportation facility including a 400 car parking deck to be integrated with a lower level intermodal bus transfer station. The project includes related retail space, as well as facilities for all city tour buses, shuttles, public taxi services, and public bus traffic. The intermodal transportation facility is the catalyst project for a larger downtown riverfront development. The structure will blend with the historic buildings along the riverfront such as Union Station and will also provide an access over the railroad to the River Walk.
