The third phase of streetscape improvements in support of Opelika's downtown revitalization efforts was completed in June 2006. The South Railroad Avenue improvements included new sidewalks and street lights, as well as parking and roadway design. Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. is currently preparing a design and cost estimates for the next phase of improvements.
