Spain Park Sports Complex

Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. provided professional design services for the Spain Park Sports Complex, located adjacent to the new high school campus on Valleydale Road. The project included construction of 2 high school baseball fields, 2 adult softball fields, a 2-story restroom/concessions building with the press box on the upper floor, as well as a 200-car parking lot and maintenance building. The remaining portion of Spain Park is reserved for use as a passive park with walking trails and pavilions. The project had a construction budget of $2.6 million and was completed in Fall 2001.
