Park Crossing was designed to enhance learning and accommodate the needs of teachers and students, visually connecting all of the spaces to generate a transparent environment. Seven storm-safe rooms with solid concrete walls have the capacity to withstand winds up to 250 mph and shelter approximately 1,200 people in the event of severe weather. GMC's state of the art safety and security renderings and plans have been recognized by the National Building Museum and are on display as part of their "Designing For Disaster" exhibit in Washington, DC.
