
With extensive certifications and training in the fields of biology and environmental science, Stuart Blackwell’s background includes stream assessment, erosion and sediment control, wetland delineation, wetland permitting, wetland mitigation, endangered and threatened species surveys, biological assessments, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. He has performed numerous National Environmental Policy Act studies for multiple federal and state agencies including the Federal Highway Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Housing and Urban Development, Federal Aviation Administration, Environmental Protection Agency and Alabama Department of Transportation. As a biologist, Stuart is responsible for project management, wetland delineation/permitting/mitigation, stormwater management, restoration and mitigation plans, site assessments, bio-assessments and technical document preparation. He graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology.
