The 30,000 square-foot Rhodes Research Center Annex is an addition to Rhodes Hall, home of bioengineering at Clemson University and part of a development plan to improve facilities and information technology campus-wide. The three-story facility was designed to promote interaction and collaboration among undergraduates, graduate students and faculty and features several research laboratories intended to facilitate the assimilation of various levels of education.Classrooms with the most up-to-date distance learning capabilities and state-of-the-art undergraduate lab spaces for tissue engineering, bio instrumentation and biomechanics, along with an administrative office for the undergraduate program and open common area comprise the bioengineering Annex. MKA, now GMC, completed this project in association with Lord Aeck & Sargent.
