Trojan Arena became the cornerstone of Troy University’s athletic complex, situated between the football stadium and the track and field complex, upon its completion in July 2012. The multipurpose sports complex provides state-of-the-art facilities for the University’s NCAA Division I basketball, volleyball and track programs, along with serving as a venue for its commencement ceremonies and special events. The main entrance of the 5,800-seat Arena features a three-tiered rotunda that leads directly into the building’s centerpiece—the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame, showcasing its members with digital displays adjacent to the rotunda. Two 767 square-foot video boards on either end of the Arena bowl and a simulated court area on the surrounding concourse enhance the overall fan experience throughout the facility. The club-level VIP suites and boxes include special pre- and post-game amenity areas for ticket holders. Students have the ultimate fan-experience with designated court-side seating. Four traditional concession stands were strategically placed in each corner of the sports facility, along with a food-court style dining center with specialty food items and a full-service kitchen with the capacity to provide food for both in-house events and those in other campus locations.
