Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood has opened an office in Augusta, Georgia. Establishing the new office will allow the firm to better serve current clients in Augusta and surrounding areas, in addition to providing the support needed to expand its regional client base.

Regional President Steve Cawood leads the firm’s east region, encompassing Georgia and South Carolina, and is an Augusta native.

“We are excited about becoming a part of the CSRA community,” Cawood said. “Our Augusta office will be an important part of our water infrastructure group. Office leader Mitch Freeman brings considerable water expertise that will greatly benefit our existing clients, such as Aiken County Public Service Authority and Augusta Utilities.”

According to Cawood, the intent is to add new disciplines, such as architecture and healthcare design, under Freeman’s leadership as the office grows.

The Augusta office will be located at 1450 Greene St., Suite 80, Augusta, Ga., 30901. GMC also has offices in Albany, Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia, in addition to locations throughout Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee.
