A 121-acre site along the Foley Beach Express is set to become Baldwin County’s newest industrial development through a partnership between the City of Foley, the Baldwin Alliance and the state of Alabama.

Located near the intersection of the Foley Beach Express and Baldwin Beach Express, the property will be acquired with the help of nearly $3.33 million in SEEDS (Site Evaluation Economic Development Strategy) funding from the Alabama Industrial Development Authority. This program helps prepare sites for immediate industrial use, strengthening the community’s ability to attract new industry.
Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) supported the project’s early stages by providing surveying, preliminary civil engineering, geotechnical engineering and environmental services. These efforts helped evaluate the site’s readiness and position it as a strong candidate for development. GMC is proud to have played a role in the successful SEEDS application and in advancing this important project.
As demand for industrial space in Foley continues to grow, the new site will provide much-needed, development-ready property to attract employers and support long-term economic development in South Baldwin County.
With offices along the Gulf Coast and experience working with the City of Foley, GMC brings a strong understanding of the local landscape and community needs. This project reflects GMC’s broader mission of building communities – supporting thoughtful growth, strengthening local economies and helping create places where people can live, work and thrive.
