Since joining GMC in 1991, Galen has established himself as a leader in the firm and his local community. Galen currently serves as president of Headwaters, a wholly owned subsidiary of GMC, and as GMC Board Chairman. He started GMC’s environmental division in 1993 and served as chief operating officer for X years. Galen has extensive experience in every aspect of the mitigation banking process, from establishing and permitting, through construction and credit sales. He is also an appointed member of the Alabama Department of Public Health Environmental Committee and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Professional Engineers, National Registry of Environmental Professionals, Business Council of Alabama and the Environment and Energy Committee.
