MAWSS intends to renovate the existing second floor of the existing Low Head Pump Building. The scope of the building modifications includes selective demolition, new
exterior steel-framed catwalk, new wall panels at the mezzanine at the West end of the building, new lighting, new finishes, new casework, new doors and hardware and new HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. A new lab and  control room, break room, offices, men’s and women’s restrooms, and lockers and other ancillary spaces. The existing service elevator will be converted into a personnel elevator. Currently there is no sprinkler system in the building, however it is the owners desire to add one. GMC will design a new exterior ADA compliant ramp and stair for access to the elevator and will design a new exit stairway from the second floor for emergency egress.
