Local architecture and engineering firm Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) has gained a new healthcare architecture leader with the addition of Emilie Lindberg, NCARB, WELL AP. Lindberg joins the firm with a wealth of experience and will lead GMC’s healthcare efforts in Atlanta.

With more than 10 years in the industry, Lindberg brings extensive healthcare expertise to the firm in Georgia. Prior to joining GMC, she worked on numerous healthcare projects ranging from department renovations, imaging replacements, vertical expansions and campus additions.

Lindberg has worked on projects for some of the largest healthcare systems in Atlanta and throughout the state, including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Northside Hospital System, Emory Healthcare and Piedmont Healthcare. Driven by a passion for problem-solving and growth, Lindberg thrives in designing healthcare architecture with creativity and pragmatism. She is focused on how her healthcare design will be used to empower patients.

Lindberg graduated from Georgia Tech with a master’s degree in architecture and a healthcare design concentration. She is WELL AP-certified and a licensed architect in Georgia.
