In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Chris is responsible for leading the firm by guiding the team to deliver quality services, educating young professionals, providing guidance on project and risk management and maintaining a consistent focus on client service. During his career with GMC, Chris led GMC’s architecture team as executive vice president for a decade, where he led his team to surpass $100 million in revenue in 2024 and grew the team to over 200 design professionals located throughout the Southeast. Under Chris’s leadership, GMC has been afforded opportunities to design some of the firm’s most notable and impactful projects throughout the region, ranging from education, healthcare, sports and municipal buildings, to major industrial, justice and commercial developments. Additionally, he is a Leadership Birmingham and Leadership Alabama Summit graduate and was also named Top 40 Under 40 by Birmingham Business Journal in 2008.
