Gary is an environmental scientist with over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience and currently leads the Environmental Department in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina office. His experience includes working through the NEPA process from Categorical Exclusions to Environmental Impact Statements; Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments; erosion and sediment control, threatened and endangered species surveys; and stream and wetland assessment, delineations, permitting, restoration and mitigation. Gary is proficient in navigating the permitting processes for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM), the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC), and the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES), including the SCDES Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM).
