Karl founded Southland Engineering, Inc. in 1999 and the firm would join forces with GMC in 2024, creating GMC’s Cartersville office. He began his engineering career at Rosser International with the vision of bringing his engineering and planning knowledge and expertise to the Cartersville, GA area to serve the nearby cities and counties in the region.
Karl has managed a staff of engineers and technicians in the preparation of construction documents for public and private clients. He is currently responsible for business and client development, workload assignments and projections, billing and collection, developing quality control and quality assurance procedures, and error reduction.
