Augusta Projects

This expansion of the existing facility added 80,500 square feet to StandardAero’s Augusta MRO facility. This new facility supports additional large aircraft for airframe and avionics while also significantly expanding the engine shop to further support many of those aircraft. The expansion of the facilities includes hangar space for aircraft and avionics maintenance, repair, and overhaul work, an additional engine shop, offices, increased parking and more.
GMC partnered with the City of Statesboro and Bulloch County to develop and adopt a major update to the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) for 2045. Beginning with a review of the largely implemented Long Range Transportation Plan from 2009, a full Needs Assessment was conducted including an updated Travel Demand Model to show results of alternative scenarios.
Columbia County selected GMC to provide the design of a new 1.5-mile alignment roadway through an undeveloped area that allowed an existing portion of Gateway Boulevard to be extended to intersect with Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown, Georgia.
GMC designed a state-of-the-art Emergency Vehicle Operations Center for public safety driving training. Sheriff’s deputies, emergency medical service personnel, firefighters, and other public safety officials who require driver certification to operate their respective public safety vehicles utilize this course for training.
