The Medal of Honor is the highest award that AIA Tampa Bay can bestow on one of its members. It recognizes a member who, while in good standing for the past 15 years, has demonstrated continuous service, leadership and impact in the most distinguished manner.

Having distinguished herself by the high quality and originality of her work, Frank has advanced the value and public awareness of expert design and architecture for decades. Frank is a strong and seasoned leader, known for consistently providing inspiration to colleagues and intentionally serving her communities.

“Beverly leads with both strength and compassion, creating an environment where people feel supported and inspired to grow,” said Tampa architecture leader Marissa Dwyer, RA.  “She takes on challenges with intention and is always looking for ways to contribute beyond herself.  Her genuine care for her team and her community shows up in everything she does.”

Frank founded BFrank Studio in 2016, which joined forces with GMC in late 2025. Throughout her career, she has worked on various impressive projects across the state, including work for multiple major universities, professional sports teams and municipalities, to name a few.

Frank is dedicated to her craft just as much as she is devoted to service. Inspired by the example of her father, an Army veteran, Frank understands the value of sacrifice and giving back. She has carried that spirit throughout her career, serving as President of AIA Tampa Bay, President of AIA Florida and as Chair of the Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design, among many other influential leadership roles. Frank leads with integrity, vision and an unwavering commitment to her community and has positively impacted the profession as a whole and countless individuals.

AIA Tampa Bay presented Frank with the prestigious award on the evening of April 16.
