The Advanced Manufacturing and Workforce Skills Training Center at Gadsden State Community College is a modern facility designed to help students prepare for careers in high-tech industries. Located on the East Broad Campus in Gadsden, the center offers hands-on learning opportunities and supports workforce development for the region.

The center includes a variety of spaces to support student success, such as laboratories, classrooms, offices and multipurpose rooms. Special features like glass viewing areas allow visitors and industry partners to see learning in action, while a dedicated safety entrance and digital information displays help create a welcoming and secure environment. By modernizing facilities and expanding training capacity, the center serves technical dual-enrolled students, traditional college students and those seeking non-degree, short-term training.
Identified as a priority project through the Alabama Community College System’s ACCS ASPIRE 2030 initiative, the training center is a cornerstone for regional workforce and economic development, helping students, job seekers and local industries connect and grow. Gadsden State’s impact extends throughout the region, supporting thousands of jobs and contributing to the local economy.
