The Rokeby Condominiums are a defining presence in Nashville’s residential skyline. Originally designed in 1995 with a distinctive, nature-inspired window composition, the mid-century tower has long stood out for its architectural character. GMC’s comprehensive renovation thoughtfully modernized the building while preserving its original design intent, elevating performance, aesthetics and the overall resident experience.

Originally designed in 1995 by Barber McMurry, the building’s windows were intentionally arranged in a balanced yet non-uniform pattern, creating a subtle, organic rhythm across the façade. GMC’s design team worked to preserve this defining characteristic, updating select openings with wider frames and larger panes of glass to highlight the original composition while providing unobstructed views and strengthening overall performance.
Interior common areas were updated with new finishes, furnishings and accessories to create a clean, modern aesthetic. The solarium was completely rebuilt with floor-to-ceiling glass and reconfigured for flexible gathering space. Residents can enjoy the 10th-floor sky terrace overlooking the skyline of Nashville, along with a heated pool, fitness center, refurbished guest suites and the restored Wilson Plaza green space. These thoughtful additions create a harmonious blend of comfort and luxury that enhances the living experience.
