MNAA John C. Tune Wildlife Hazard Assessment

The Environmental team was hired to provide comprehensive professional services at John C. Tune Airport.

The FAA uses the results of this analysis to determine whether the presence of wildlife hazards will require preparation of a Wildlife Hazard Management Plan.

The scope included an analysis of the events/circumstances that prompted the assessment as well as the identification of the wildlife species observed and their numbers, locations, local movements and daily/seasonal occurrence.

Also included in the scope was the identification and location of features on and near the airport that attract wildlife, a description of wildlife hazards to aircraft operations and then subsequent recommended actions for reducing identified wildlife hazards to aircrafts.
